The AEWIN Intelligent Video Surveillance
system is an advanced, state-of-the-art
security solution. The integrated system
detects and responds to any potential threat
predefined by your security policy. Its high
level of sophistication delivers an
unsurpassed level of security for
counter-terrorism and corporate physical
security. It tracks, highlights and records
the behavior of people, vehicles, or any
moving object for immediate reaction and
later analysis.
Using video input with advanced analysis
software the system recognizes potentially
threatening behavior and events. When
security rules are violated the threat is
highlighted on-screen in real time and
alarms are immediately issued via cell
phones, PDAs, e-mails or to other security
stations through the TCP/IP Network. This
enables immediate and effective response.
The Four Parts of the AEWIN Intelligence
Video Surveillance System
1 Intelligence Video Processing Unit
ivBox 1000
ivBox 1000 is the core component of the
Intelligence Video Surveillance System. It
reads video signals from the surveillance
equipment, separates the movements of people
and vehicles from the background, analyzes
them, and tracks and records them. It
compares the behavior pattern of the
subjects with the pre-defined security
rules. If any violation is detected, ivBox
1000 will send out an alert message through
the network immediately. The message will be
received by the Alert Console and recorded
by the Server for future reference.
2 Database Server
The Database Server records the detailed
movement reports from ivBox 1000. This is an
invaluable tool to law enforcement and other
security professional in event analysis.
3 Software Tools
The Software Tools include several
configuration software programs: The
Intelligence Video Surveillance System
Structure Configuration setup tool;
individual ivBox 1000 and Video Channel
Configuration setup tools, Security Rules
definition tool, etc. These tools are used
by security consultants and system
specialists to configure the system and
optimize its performance for the security
task.
4 Alert Console
The Alert Console receives Alert Messages
from ivBox 1000 through the Server and
displays these messages on a monitor. It
displays the time and location of a
violation (ivBox 1000 id and Video Channel),
indicates the security rules violated, and
snapshots the violation event, etc. The
records of the Alert Console provide a
valuable analysis and training tool for
security personnel to improve their
awareness and efficiency.
The Intelligence Video Surveillance System
from AEWIN recognizes people, vehicles and
other items from video signals based on
their characteristics. It disregards
disturbances caused by natural phenomena
such as water waves and tides, changes in
winds and lights, to avoid false-positive
mistakes and misreporting. Therefore, when
an Alert Message has been sent by the
Intelligence Video Surveillance System,
there is confidence that a real violation
has occurred that requires immediate
attention. Different security policies can
be applied to the Intelligence Video
Surveillance System from AEWIN based on to
different periods of time or other risk
factors.
Advantages of
observer Rack-Mounted Multi-Channel ivBox
Extensibility
The standard 19-inch rack-mounted ivServer
is easy to install and stacks into the rack
on communications equipment room beside the
cabling tuner. You can easily add additional
ivServers in this manner to meet your future
requirements.
Stability
Other than the video cameras, the system
centralizes the various security elements
into a solid configuration that can be
located to avoid environment influences,
such as, temperature, humidity, dust, and
electro-magnetic interference.
Availability
ivServer features a redundant power system.
It automatically switches to battery backup
when the power is down. It can also be
configured to switch its power source on a
dual-power supply design.
Maintainability
ivServer supports multiple channels of video
input – providing real-time analysis for
each. The ivServer handles this input by
utilizing different processor circuit boards
for each video channel. If a particular
circuit board is damaged, you may easily
hot-swap a new board without taking down the
system.

System Summary
The Intelligence Video Surveillance System
from AEWIN is an integrated surveillance
solution based on an intelligence video
processor ivBox.

All you need to do is to input the video
from a traditional surveillance record
system to the ivBox with a cable, and it
will continuously monitor the assigned
scenes with the defined security rules. Once
it detects any irregular activity from a
person or a vehicle, it will send out alert
signals to inform the security personnel to
deal with it right after the first sign
revealed.
